Descend into Chelsea Rousso's Alice Collection— a series of Alice in Wonderland inspired wearable glass pieces that's over a decade in the making.
Chelsea's love for the fantastical world of Alice in Wonderland started many years before her pivot from classic fashion design to wearable glass. Spending time with Alice has always been a passion of Chelsea's. When Chelsea lived in New York City in the 1980s, the bronze Alice sculptures in Central Park were a constant reminder of childlike wonder on her morning commute. Chelsea even took her mother to visit the sculptures, as seen in the photo on the right.
Chelsea's collection started as a fascination with the Lewis Carroll novel and over the years, has blossomed into her signature collection. After the 150th birthday, Chelsea dove deeper into the text and was inspired to create her fantastic Alice in Wonderland inspired series. The WMODA Museum hosted 'Believe the Impossible' in 2021, a runway fashion show featuring Chelsea's Alice in Wonderland themed wearable glass art. Since then, Chelsea has shown and added to this collection dozens of times. Her Alice Collection has been displayed in exhibitions and showcases across the east coast.
See the exhibitions page or the Portfolio page to see more of Chelsea's fantastical Alice Collection.
